Denver Botanical Garden Bumpy Green Citron
An Etrog citron (Citrus medica) hangs centrally in the frame, its bumpy skin the primary focus. The fruit is a vibrant, mottled lime green with some yellowing, set against the darker green leaves and woody brown branches. Bright, diffuse light highlights the rough, wrinkled texture of the citron's rind and the leathery surface of the leaves. The composition uses a shallow depth of field, isolating the main fruit and leaves against a softly blurred background of foliage.
