How long will my website take to build?

This can vary based on the project requirements and your specific needs. With that said, we typically have a pretty fast turnaround for projects. An average project takes around ~3 weeks.

What are the payment terms?

We require 50% of the total project cost upfront as a downpayment, and the remainder on the final review of the website before it is launched and the domain is pointed. Feel free to check out our terms of service for more information on our payment terms.

Where should my website be hosted?

This can vary depending on your needs, but for a majority of small businesses, you can get a reliable shared server with low latency for around $5-$10/month. We're happy to make specific hosting recommendations that fit your needs. We also do include hosting in our website maintenance.

Do I own my website?

Yup. Once you make the final payment on your site, you own the website files outright. We build a majority of our websites with WordPress, so you're not locked into overpriced proprietary software as well as have cheaper maintenance costs in the future.

Can I update my website myself?

Absolutely! You'll have access to the backend of the website where you can log in and make changes yourself. A majority of our sites are built with WordPress. We also primarily use Elementor Pro, which is an industry-leading page builder that has a lot of online available resources to help you become familiar with it. We're also happy to make content updates for you as part of our maintenance plan.

Will my website work on mobile devices?

Yup. We have been designing responsive websites for almost two decades now. All of our websites are thoroughly tested on the latest mobile devices and browsers.

How much input do I have?

Website design is a collaborative process, and we will ask for your ideas, feedback, and approval throughout all stages of the project. Some clients don't have a preference or would prefer us to have complete creative direction with their project, which we're more than happy to do. In these cases, we dive in and research your niche to create your design.

Who writes the content for my website site?

You do. No one knows your business better than you! Our specialty is taking that content and weaving it perfectly into your website. However, if you need content provided for your site, let us know and we can point you in the right direction.

What do I need to get started?

Contact Us! We'll discuss your project and send a proposal. From there we typically need your website content and a downpayment before we can add your project to our schedule.

How long will my design last in terms of relevancy?

We design all of our sites with a focus on longevity and flexibility, with the ability to expand and update the website as your business grows and changes. The typical industry 'standard' is to update your website every 2-4 years, but we are happy to partner with our clients to create long-lasting sites that are easy to refresh.
