Caprock Canyons State Park Rugged Red Rock Cliff
A massive red sandstone formation features deep vertical fissures and horizontal stratification in rust, ochre, and terracotta hues topped by a lighter caprock layer. Rugged, eroded textures on the cliff face contrast with soft white cumulus clouds drifting across a vivid azure sky. Dense, dark green foliage of a juniper tree frames the right side of the scene. Bright, direct sunlight casts sharp, high-contrast shadows that accentuate the geological layers and the sheer verticality of the escarpment.
