Big Obsidian Flow Glistening Contrast
Obsidian, a volcanic glass formed from rapidly cooled lava, glistens under the sunlight, exhibiting a range of deep blacks and dark grays with sharp, jagged surfaces. The ground is uneven and covered with a multitude of obsidian pieces, ranging from small, sharp shards to larger, boulder-sized chunks. These rocks have a distinctive shiny and smooth appearance, reflecting light with a mirror-like sheen that contrasts with the rough textures of other volcanic debris scattered throughout the area.
