Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge Autumn Boardwalk

A wooden boardwalk, lined with a simple railing, meanders through a lush forest, its path strewn with fallen autumn leaves. Towering trees with peeling bark arch over the walkway, their branches cloaked in a canopy of green leaves, hinting at the waning days of fall. To the sides, dense undergrowth fills the space between the trees, creating a secluded, verdant passage that invites exploration.
